“I am a tick and bug magnet I have always been concerned about Lyme disease. Now that I am going through cancer treatment and am very immune compromised the need for protection is even greater. I do have Insect Shield clothing, yet I thought this blanket would be a good addition to my collection.
Right now, I have the blanket hanging in my car so it is available if I should need it on an outing. However, I also plan to use it on my deck, at the fireworks, as a picnic tablecloth Or bench cover. I will put it on my car seat after a hike just in case I missed a tick. I could use it camping or on the ground if I choose to stop in a park and read a book. I believe there are multiple uses for the blanket.
The blanket is not how I expected it to be. Usually a picnic style blanket has a rougher waterproof bottom on it and a softer top. This one is so soft it’s almost like a nice baby receiving blanket, but larger. It’s very comfortable to wrap around you. The plaid top is a soft brushed fabric; The fabric on the bottom is a soft knit fabric. It drapes and hangs very nicely. It packs relatively small though it is plenty large size. I am happy with this purchase.”
