“I’ve been a fan of Insect Shield products for a while because they reliably keep insects away. Over the years, I’ve purchased various items, including shirts, pants, and socks. This particular shirt is incredibly lightweight, making it perfect for summer weather and my recent travels in South America. It protects me from mosquitoes and the sun, and its breathable fabric works wonderfully in hot climates.
As a woman, I opted for this men’s shirt because this lovely sky blue color I liked wasn’t available in women’s sizes for months, and I needed it for my trip. I usually wear a women’s medium, so I chose a men’s small. The fit is great, although the sleeves are slightly long for me.
I do wish Insect Shield offered more of these lightweight shirts in additional colors like khaki or green, which would be ideal for nature enthusiasts, bird watchers, and wildlife lovers. These individuals tend to avoid colors like red or white, which can scare animals away. Unfortunately, in women’s sizes, the only options available were red and white.
That said, Insect Shield products have consistently been effective for me. When wearing them in mosquito-prone areas, I’ve rarely had issues. The only areas requiring repellent were my face and hands -places not covered by their clothing. Overall, a great product that I highly recommend for outdoor enthusiasts!”
