“My sister-in-law was living in CT and discovered Insect Shield clothing-after she got Lyme disease. She told my wife about the bandanas. My wife bought one and wore it while gardening. A big horsefly would buzz around her head once and take off! So she figures to add the gaiter to her wardrobe to wear with the bandana or scarf when she goes out in the woods or fishing to keep ticks from getting down her neck. All the Insect Shield clothing we have bought has been excellent, except the ballcaps. They don't seem to be affective at keeping minges and little blackflies away. So we spray them with the spray shortly before wearing them. That works.”
