“So beyond impressed by insect shield products! I recently went to Uganda to work with Chimpanzees then went Gorilla Trekking in the wild. I tease that I have fairy blood because I ALWAYS am the person to get bug bites when no one else does. I wore Insect Shield pants, long sleeve top and the hiking socks and came home with NO BITES!!!! When i was gorilla trekking my entire group was attacked by safari ants while we were viewing the gorillas and i was the only one who didn't have any come near me. “I purchased two more of these; and have this in 4 colors now. I am tall, 5’10” and thin, 135# and I ordered a medium. The sleeves are plenty long, as is the length of the shirt. The fit is not baggy and awkward, but comfortable, and fitting without being too tight. I will save these for my bug outings, but they are nice classic tops I could wear any time. Nice quality and my other two have washed well for a couple years. Highly recommend.”
“Bugs love me, whether I'm in the garden or just walking to the mailbox. This shirt, especially when being in the garden or outside for an extended time, does the trick to keep biting and stinging bugs away. It is a little long on me, I'm short, but keeping the bug away is my first priority. The color is nice, it washes well and is soft. I highly recommend this shirt.”
“I love these tops. They work pretty well at repelling mosquitos, although I did have one that landed on me and try to bite me through the fabric. The biggest problem is that these tops run small. I love the style, but I have to come back and purchase an Extra Large when I normally wear a size 12 and a large.”
“Bought several items for next trip to Honduras hoping this is the answer to the no see-ums. The best thing without knowing how they will do with bugs is the fabric. It's lightweight, soft, very cozy on and will be perfect even at home on summer evenings in Tahoe. The pants fit perfectly and will be great for many different occasions, not just fighting bugs. I went to XL on the tees as I like my shirts on the loose size. Normally I would buy a Lg (12-14) but didn't like the snugness on the chest. It's just a personal thing on fit. I feel I'm going to be a life-long customer.”
