“Pretty enough to wear on its own, but I mainly wanted this to wear while doing yard work, underneath a work shirt that can get dirty and snagged on bushes. It's lightweight enough to be comfortable for layering. Fits well, proportions good. I'm 5'6" and 175 lbs, and a Large fits perfectly. Soft and stretchy, hangs wells. Sleeves can easily be pushed up, and stay up at elbow level (till a mosquito finds my one vulnerable body part). It's a balance between lightweight enough for the summer weather when I need it to fight off ticks and mosquitos, and just sturdy enough to last through the multiple washings before the permethrin gives out. Now I'm covered head to foot with bandana on head, one around neck, shirt, leggings (under jeans) and socks. I defy a tick to latch onto me now. For what it's worth, I took one bandana and cut it into two rectangles. Wrapped each around my neck, and put a shank button at the point where they meet, with an elastic loop on the other side. I wear this around my neck and it tucks under the relatively high neckline on this shirt. Until it gets really hot, the whole outfit is comfortable, The leggings end up being too warm for the hotter days, so pants legs get tucked into the socks then.”
