They fit nicely in boots, and are easy to pull your socks over or under depending on your preference and need for protection. “I followed the size chart and had no issues with the sizing. I’m not sure about other peoples reviews here with different issues. I’m 5’9” and 140 pounds. I didn’t think they were shiny. They are just not matte Cotton. It’s not a thicker material, but I wouldn’t say it is thin like a legging. We are having a mosquito outbreak due to recent rains and needed these to survive. They look like you bought them at Lululemon or Athleta. Adjustable drawstring waist.”
“I am 5'6", about 130 pounds, in my sixties so with that nice thing that gravity does to our belly and butt as we age. These pants in Medium fit me perfectly, rarely the case for pants I've bought online. They look great, actually hold in the flabby parts a bit. I wouldn't wear them out to dinner but I don't feel like a frump when I go shopping or walk around the neighborhood. They hit me mid-ankle, with just a bit of sock showing. The fabric is nice, with a little stretch and sheen, not too thick or thin. I wore them this morning to the dog park, along with my Insect Shield mesh jacket and socks. Everyone else was batting away the flies and no-see-ums, while I was walking around smug and bug-free, and I'm usually the insect world's favorite meal. Definitely will order another pair, black to go with my grey. Wish they came in more colors, a dark blue or olive.”
