“I previously purchased the black version of these pants in a large, however, they were a little bit loose so I wanted to see what the medium size was like. I ordered them in gray in medium. After trying them on, I decided to keep them both.
The gray medium is a little more fitted than the black large, though not tight. The gray fabric is a little less shiny than the black fabric, and it’s also a little stiffer/heavier with less give than the black. The black has a soft, shiny, satiny type of feel to it that drapes very nicely. The black can have a dressier look to it, whereas the gray looks more casual. I think the loser size feels a little cooler in the summer, I’m not sure if that’s because the fabric is a little different or because there’s more airflow. I also think that come fall in winter I can wear the larger pants with a pair of leggings under them for warmth.
I plan to wear the gray ones when I sit on the deck on the summer night to avoid the mosquitoes and bugs, if I take a walk in the evening, or a hike in the woods.
It’s also important to mention that I am almost 5‘10“ tall, 135 pounds, and I was concerned that these would not be long enough for me. However, I was happy to find that they come right to the top of my tennis shoes. I feel that they’re just long enough. It helps that the hem is narrower at the bottom.
I’m very happy with the pants and I always recommend Insect Shield products to my friends and family.”
“Perfect for warm summer days - very light weight. I am 5’6 123 pounds - I got the medium for a loose comfortable fit or to put thin leggings under. I suggest going up a size as I started with the small and they were snug”
“Pant material seems comfortable and cool but the sizing was very off. I ordered a Woman’s 8-10 and it looked like a kids 8-10. I normally wear a size 4 and these were way to small for me. There must have been a size error in the sourcing.”
“I bought both the medium and the small, and the medium fits the best. I am 5’2” and 120 lbs and the medium is a little tight in the waist but fit great elsewhere.
My only problem with them is that the fabric irritates my skin, and I can’t wear them all day. I would love pants with a softer fabric-perhaps you make one and I didn’t see them!”
“I am pretty short (5'2") so I was afraid these would be too long, but they are perfect! They cover my ankle but don't drag on the ground. Paired with the socks, I feel really protected.
