“These pants do not fit on many levels. The size is not standard with the other pants I have ordered from Insect Shield. I can wear size 8 in 2 other styles I have purchased...however in the Dockers chino, 2 sizes bigger did not fit properly. The waist was much narrower than similar size pants in other styles. The legs on these pants are very narrow. If you are literally a skinny legged model they might fit. However, for a normal average person, the legs were too tight. And without a lot more Spandex, someone who is active outdoors, could not be mobile in these pants with the narrow stiff cut of the leg design.
I really enjoy the protection from ticks and chiggers that the Insect Shield clothing provides. It would be great if the clothing manufacturers they are working with had consistant sizing. It would also be much better to have 5% Spandex in all of the pants rather than 2-3%...active people need flexibiltity to move!
For the enironment, it would be great to have more clothing made from cotton or bamboo, not plastic (polyester, nylon). The plastic fabrics do not breathe as well and are much hotter in hot humid climates.”
