“Its marketed as unisex but I think a woman would be brave to pull this off, it leans way more masculine to me. Its a sophisticated blend of oud that smells like it has coffee notes in it. Its strong but not pungent, smells like youre in an arabian palace by the fireplace with the evening breeze blowing in the air if that makes sense. Think Tom Ford’s Black Orchid on Steriods.This is for a classy man, who is in charge but likes to be out of the spotlight! You know, that guy that owns the team, but doesn't dress as flashy as the team players. I haven’t put my nose to Initio’s Oud for Greatness and am rating this scent solely on its own scent profile, however I am definitely going to get a sniff of that, cause if indeed that perfume smells better than this, then man it surely is over kill! I would happily pay $150 or more for this juice and still feel like I won! Its almost criminal how cheap it is ha ha.This is a no brainer for anyone who knows anything about fragrances!!! Don’t ask, just buy!P.SUpdate: I wore this on a night out, and I kid you not; over 6 weeks later I could still smell it on my shirt when I walk into my closet. Please and please go light on the sprays, this fragrance is the definition of beast mode performance!! Talk about winning the lottery, this is the best bang for buck fragrance wise purchase from over a 100bottles of perfume purchases I have made, Niche and Designer put together”
“I don't know how to say this, without sounding condescending. Very..very strong fragrance. I can't identify the top note, mid tones, or anything else..for that matter. Unless your sense of smell is ruined, you won't enjoy it... and neither will those around you.”
“I'm a fan of Initio's Oud for Greatness, though it wasn't love at first sniff. In fact I was rather taken aback by that fragrance the first time I put my nose on it, having to dig through miles of perfumer's alcohol to find any semblance of oud. But over time, it absolutely grew on me - not sure if it macerated in the sample container, or if it just takes time to 'blossom' into the rich, mysterious, woody scent that it becomes - but it fast became one of my favorite fragrances. Unfortunately at over $300 a bottle, it was something to try, but not to buy.Then I started seeing reviews on YouTube and other places that said Oud for Glory was an extremely close clone of Oud for Greatness, so I figured at this price point, why not give it a shot?I am not just pleased with the purchase, I am astounded. Although when I put Oud for Glory on one wrist and Oud for Greatness on the other, I could tell the differences (they're extremely minor differences) - a seasoned nose can tell that Greatness is just of a slightly higher quality. That said, I PREFER the smell of Oud for Glory. It's a bit softer, actually smells more well-rounded to me (I know many would disagree with this comment), lacks most of the medicinal/alcohol smell, and I just like it more on my skin overall. All while capturing 90+% of what makes Greatness so ... great. I'm also getting exceptional longevity and sillage, just as I did with the original.So as others have said, unless you are a collector purist and have the kind of money to buy the real deal, this fragrance (which comes in a total knock-off bottle - it's gorgeous and has a great feel and heft) - this is a no-brainer, get Oud for Glory. The notes are 98% the same as Greatness at less than triple the price of the OG OG.”
