Awesome tent! Easy to sent up, the square base makes it roomy and comfortable for two people. The fabric is thin so it is lightweight, this makes it feel a little fragile but it is so far very resilient!

Really happy with this tent after using it a lot in all weather on my Te Araroa thru-hike. Great size for one person to keep all their gear inside. Double doors are a godsend and help keep everything clean. After a bit of getting used to the setup it now goes up quickly and securely. I use the tips of my hiking poles in the tent pole pockets to erect it, rather than the handles which I found didn’t feel as secure. I put a foam earplug in the pockets to protect the fabric from the sharp pole ends. I always use sticks to prop up the side guy ropes to avoid sagging which gives me more room inside and no wet contact with tent fabric, or tie them up to trees. Used through winter and no problems with condensation this way. It also dries super quickly. I also bought a few hooked tent pegs as i found some can pop out in soft ground or perhaps I just used too much tension on them. I love this tent and am very happy with it for the weight and price. Other thru hiker’s lightweight mesh tents just seemed horrible, flimsy and wet for NZ conditions and way too expensive.

Tent was stolen before I got to properly take this tent on a hike, but the few times I used it in the back yard I felt that this tent was pretty good. Bear in mind, I am 187cm tall, and my feet touched the end of the tent when laying straight on in the tent. In the morning once the dew had wet the tent and caused the outer to sag a bit and rest against the inner mesh, which allowed the moisture to go straight through and get my feet wet. So there are two issues with this tent: it sags when wet, getting the inner mesh wet, and if you are over 6 ft, expect to sleep diagonal in this tent.

Gear testing, if any of you looking for a 2 man's tent, look no further than the Indie 2 lightweight tent...fool proof, we have tried it on Sunday in a constant heavy rain and gusty condition, we've received around 62mm since 11am Sunday to 9 am Monday. The inside of the tent stay dry and no condensation. Overall we are very happy with this tent. A little note, though it say for 2 people but I don't think it suitable for 2 big build or tall people. For the tarp we used Vango trek tarp, also very good.

I purchased this tent as I wanted something lightweight enough for one person, with room enough to bring a friend sometimes too. It arrived quickly and has performed beautifully. The outer fly doesn't contact the inner, keeping water out. Condensation can be completely avoided by keeping the doors open a little on one side. I haven't used it in the rain yet, but I'm totally happy with my purchase and would wholeheartedly recommend this tent.

Before I bought the tent I phoned Len who explained the differences between the different models and helped me narrow down the choice. The purchase and delivery went very smoothly. I've now slept in the tent for three nights of light rain and woke up snug and dry. It's easy for one person to set up although I'm still learning the optimum adjustment on the guy ropes. There's plenty of space inside for one - I'm 1.84m (6'2'') and had enough headroom - but I haven't used it for two yet.

A well made little tent. Excellent 3 season with good length and access from both sides. My only small issue is i would prefer the vestibule flaps to come closer to the ground.
