Awesome tent. Super easy to pitch and put back into its bag. Was able to fit my backpack in too, as it has no vestibule. I might buy another one for my son.

This tent is awesome! I've been using it for 3-4 years now for bikepacking using for weeks at a time. Used it on a bunch of different terrain like grass, gravel, sand etc. I've looked after my tent by cleaning it after every trip. The waterproofing is still great, it's windproof and doesn't have any holes or tears. It's worth noting the outer fly doesn't fully detach from the tent. The front entrance has a velcro strap to remove it but it's sewn together on the smaller side. This hasn't been an issue for me because I love being able to roll and pack the tent already with the outer fly. It makes pitching and packing much faster. The tent also features a massive zip on the top of the inner which is awesome for quickly moving things in and out of the tent without having to crawl in and out. If there was one negative I think it'd be the length of the poles. They're not super long but I'd love if they were a bit shorter to fit inside in my bikepacking bags. At the moment I just strap them on the side of my rear rack which hasn't been an issue. This is the best tent I've ever owned. It's light, small, rugged and cheap. I want to buy another one before they stop making them but my current tent just won't break!

First time I ever set up the tent with no instructions. It was straight forward and took less than 15 mins and packing up was just as easy. Fantastic product

Great space inside for a small 1 person tent. Could possibly fit a pack inside as well if you weren't super tall. Easy and fast to pitch and I like that the fly is actually semi-attached to the tent so in wet weather the tent doesn't get wet while pitching. Good quality pegs, though think two more pegs would be good so you can pull all corners of the fly out a little further. Pleased with the tent :)

Have just done 18 days down the Colorado river with the Ranger 1. It stood up to rain, high winds and wind-driven sand. Easy and quick to pitch. Quite roomy for one, great ventilation on those hot nights with the fly rolled back. Great quality - can't go wrong for $159

Easy to put up and take down. Good length but have not had the opportunity to use it.

Packs up small, easy to erect. As to be expected it is small so pretty tight if you sleeping with a large pack in there too.
