“Pretty versatile, weighs next to nothing. Bought for summer tramping when my sleeping bag, ironically, gets used like a quilt. Has domes and straps so it can wrap a sleeping mat, or close up more like a sleeping bag.
Based on my testing, exceeds it's warmth rating (especially used with my thermalite sleeping bag liner).
It clips to my STS Spark SPII at the neck such that when unzipping it folds back with the sleeping bag top. And with the domed closure feature makes a sleeping bag around my sleeping bag. Joules per square meter wise, the combination will take my sleeping system down to -10°C I reckon.
So that's the seasons well covered using the Ember I and SPII singly or combined.
