“The concept is great. I love the feel of the glass and the seal is very effective. There are a couple of "flaws" in my opinion and not restricted to your design. 1. The 12oz is too tall. It won't fit under any of the coffee machines I have nor under the coffee machines in the cafes I've visited. I don't understand why it can't be shorter and wider at the base. A similar height to the 8oz would not require too much change to the base dimensions to accommodate 12oz. 2. While I love how effective the seal is, I think it should go on the outside of the cup rather than on the inside. I find it when I make my own coffee and baristas who have used it find the same thing. The cup is filled and then, when putting the lid on, some of the contents are forced out the side. If the lid was to fit over the top of the cup and on the outside, this problem would be resolved instantly. As I say, I do like the cup. I've searched hard for a dual wall, glass coffee cup traveler. I've used other dual wall cups but none have quite nailed the design. They are hard to find - particularly in glass - and the first company to nail the design will, I believe, do very nicely. shaun”

Hi Shaun, Thanks for your feedback. We are product designers so we welcome feedback and I used to be a barista in my 20s :) As with a 12oz one-use paper takeway cup, when placed under a coffee group, they sit on an angle when the coffee is poured, just like our 12oz cup. We designed the 8oz to primarily be used under the coffee machine, bringing the thick silicone down, protecting the base from the metal coffee tray. Increasing the diameter of the cup unfortunately would mean that it would not fit in a cup holder however I take point that it would be great if the 12oz was shorter. All sides glass cups have been designed so the contents of the cup moves smoothly into the lid without spilling a drop. Please try it again. If this works next time you make a coffee, would you be willing to increase your review to a 4 :) Thanks Shaun :)
