“Recently purchased the iStrap case protector for my Apple watch 9.
The protector is clearly a quality item and 'clicked' firmly and snugly into place on my watch with absolutely no trouble at all when I received it last week. However, I feel compelled to mention that it has come off unexpectedly twice recently, as follows:
The first time it happened, I was swimming at the beach, got out and was drying myself (and the watch) off with my towel. Unknown to me, as I towelled my arm and wrist in the area of the watch, it must have become detached because some moments later I noticed the case protector was missing, then I looked around the area, and fortunately I found it in the sand. Close shave!
The second occasion was the following day, we were loading our bags into the car and the strap of my wifes beach bag must have gotten snagged on the watch, and once again the protector sprang off, and landed on the road behind the car. No damage so no problem but just mentioning this to raise awareness.
As a footnote, I do also strongly recommend removing the protector if you have been swimming at the beach; water (and potentially sand) does unavoidably get between the protector and the watch which of course will need rinsing in clear water to remove.
Not deal-breakers by any means, and I do recommend, but hopefully this will avoid loss for other buyers of this excellent product.”
“Protector case is great but delivery was slow and took 2 weeks when website said 2-4 business days. Delays over Christmas holiday period are to be expected but 2 weeks is excessive.”
