“The item I received was not the same as what was pictured on the website. I specifically ordered this to match the bottle cage I already had on my bike. Unfortunately, I got a different version, possibly the newer version of the same product. The new version uses soft touch plastic which I find to be too grippy and I know it will deteriorate and peel over time like they all do. The one I wanted and is pictured on the website uses smooth hard plastic which allows the bottle to slide in and out more freely but still has plenty of clamping force.
I would not have paid extra for this item and paid postage if I knew it was the same as the one I could just buy from a closer local shop.
If you are ordering anything online, I suggest you contact the store first to make sure you’re getting what you order as the website can not be trusted.”
