“The service from Ivanhoe Cycle was fantastic when I bought this bike back in Aug 23. The bike has been back for the initial recommended service with same standard of care. Just minor gear change adjustments needed.
Has done about 200km on it now.
I could only get about 25km range on this bike on setting 5. And mainly on flat roads. However, this bike, with it torque sensor setup, can do almost twice the distance of my other 2 electric bikes with the speed sensors arrangement, on the same route.
It’s a well made bike and turns many heads.
This is a great bike for form, function and looks.
Only 2 wishes I had for this bike otherwise I would have given 5 stars without hesitation.
1 Even on the maximum Level 5 assist, I find it is too heavy padding for my liking. The speed sensor bikes are better in this area for an oldie like me with arthritis.
2. It’s a pain to have to remove the battery for charging. My other bikes have external port for this and they are half the price of the eMicro.
In preference, I tend to ride my other bikes for easy of paddling even though I felt better control with the eMicro especially in the wet as I the torque sensor gave a much smoother start up than the speed sensor bikes.”
