“Nice little cottage. Comfortable double bed and 3 kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft. Toilet has a seat warmer which we all appreciate in the cold winter days although it was lacking the usual Japanese seat bidet which is odd. Kitchen was complete with Utensils and most kitchen tools but none of the perishables that one might need (e.g. cooking oil). No big deal though. Recommended for small young family. Can get a bit tight with teenage kids since they will need more personal space. Overall a wonderful experience.”

“EXCELLENT private nook, especially if you're driving because it has a good parking space. It's nice and warm. Perfect for a couple or a small family. Actually don't book it... so I can get my hands on it again! :)”

“Nupuri Cottage turned out to be better than expected. Although not exactly close to the centre of activity, the bus stop is just a few steps away from the main door. Everything in the cottage worked fine, and once we got used to the location, getting around was not difficult. Some nice restaurants just a short walk away, plus the onsen.”

“Lived up to expectations- cosy and neat. Although it is located I lower Hirafu, the shuttle bus departs right outside the cottage. Only downside was that the ski storage was located in the basement and as a result of the snow it was at times very slippery.”
