“The upper control arms fit perfectly with OEM setup. Extremely easy to install. Came with plenty of lubricant for the bushing so you don’t hear that annoying new rubber squeaking against the metal. & I love how each bushing & the bearing are all serviceable & able to get greased through grease fittings. Would love if later on down the road we could get the arms color matched as an option.”
“Bought the JBA Upper control arms for lifted/leveled, Ram/Dodge Ram 1500 2006-current model years. I bought these control arms for my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 (3rd generation), I have 1.5 inch rancho quick lift leveling struts installed on the front to level out the truck from the factory “rake”. The leveling kit wore out my balljoints a little bit more quickly over time due to the balljoints being at more of an angle because of the leveling kit. I was looking all over online for quite sometime searching for control arms that would fit a simple 1.5 inch level as most upper control arms sold are for atleast a 2 inch lift and they recommend nothing less that 2 inches. Whereas JBA makes their control arms for a 1”-4” lift/ level which is perfect for my application. These control arms are aesthetically beautiful, very nice red coating, the bushings and the balljoints can all be greased which I absolutely love. They feel so smooth when turning and sound amazing compared to the old upper control arms/ball joints which would squeak/ squeal slightly when I would turn the wheels due to the angle being off which was an effect of raising the front end with the use of the leveling kit. The ball joints were in a way, sort of being pinched between the upper control arm and the steering knuckle by the upper control arm and now they seem to be at just the right angle because of JBA’s UCA’s and not long back before I installed these I had an alignment done although due to the factory upper control arms and the aftermarket leveling struts the alignment didn’t seem to be at the right degree and would somewhat pull very very slightly, now the tires are at the right angle and with the instructions included with the UCA’s the installation was easy with the help of a ball joint press to get the old ball-joint out of the steering knuckle. So far after about a week or two of them being on, I love them and think they are amazing, totally fixed the front end squeak when turning and makes me feel a lot better when driving due to having the fresh parts put in and having simple instructions that were easy to follow to a T.”
