“Turns out my lower ball joint on my driver’s side went bad and put additional stress on the upper ball joint. I went ahead and replaced both on the driver’s and passenger side. Four bolts each, a grease fitting, and done. Wish the lowers were that easy!”
“When installing the new ball joints its hard to tell if the metal ring between the spindle and boot is to be reused, there is not a new one in the new hardware packed but the photo makes it look like it should be reused. If not used grease comes pouring out the bottom... Need to be clearly called out. Previous ball joints only lasted 15K miles, was pretty disappointed in durability to be honest”
