“I would love the joints to last a little longer, I’m just a 5% off-roader and I drive my truck mostly in the city, however I have to admit that I live in a city (La Paz Bolivia) where all kind of car brands and specially off-road equipment could make stress and durability tests because of our poor street conditions. The best thing I can say about this joints is that they allow easy and not costly rebuild, without the need of replacing the whole upper arms”
“Extremely satisfied with my ball joint replacement kit! Came with all necessary hardware and grease fittings as well as some extras just in case. As always the JBA quality is outstanding and the instructions are super simple. I really appreciate this company for the extra effort they put into everything they do. My UCA’s are good as new again!”
“Ball joints are great. Fit exactly what I needed, however the instructions could be a little better. Just pay attention to how your spacer comes off so you can put it back on where it needs to be.”
“These ball joints are excellent however I have found that the grease nipples arent well protected from the bump stops during wheel travel on the KJ Jeep Liberty. Mine have been bent out of shape and destroyed. After initial purchase back in the day I found there was an after market steel bracket that was available that sat over the top of the ball joint. Pitty I didnt know that when I bought the control arm at the time. At the time I bought the control arm I was told that the "Moog K772 Ball Joint" was exactly the same as the JBA -K6292 ball joint. Apparently the Cadillac ball joint was used and copied because of its superior strength and range of movement. Bolt patterns should be the same as well. Hopefully soon I will buy a set and test the Cadillac version for quality and fitment. Conclusion so far is....... Overall JBA has a good ball joint but grease nipple is subject to damaged during wheel travel when off roading. This is not something many people would realise or even thin about when installing these arms.”
“I replaced both front upper ball joints and replaced bushings in the UCA's for my 2003 Lexus GX-470 for under $200. Lets hope these will last longer than the old chevy ones you guys used to use. Order was shipped quickly!”
