“I bought the One Ring and was completely blown away by the weight and quality!! The pictures do not do it anywhere near enough justice. An amazing ring made by the actual makers of the LOTR One Ring To Rule Them All!?!? You would be a fool of a Took not to buy it”
“The ring is just beautiful. Engravings are striking and there is a very nice weight and heft to the piece. I cannot help fidgeting with it when wearing and not wearing. I suppose a bit like Bilbo himself! I am going now :)”
“This is the definitive version of the One Ring. It looks and feels just how I imagined it would after seeing the movie. Understandably, this is the closest one can get to actually owning a ring of power.”
“You can feel the quality of this ring. It's a beautiful piece of jewelry and quite the conversation starter. It was my son's favorite Christmas present.”
“I got this to replace my husbands broken wedding ring as he is a big fan and has wanted this ring for a while. Unfortunately after only one day of wearing it his ring finger turned a blackish/greenish color where the ring sat which I was not expecting to happen from this ring. It is absolutely beautiful in person tho and the box it comes in is absolutely amazing my husband totally geeked out seeing it”
Hi - thanks for taking the time to post considered feedback. Glad your husband geeked out at it :)
All sterling silver rings by definition contain 7.5% copper and it is quite normal for the skin chemistry of some people to react with that and a greenish color can result. This is both not unusual and generally temporary. Typically if the ring is polished (warm soapy water and soft cloth will do) and dried frequently during the first few weeks of wearing and the hands and fingers are also washed and dried before the ring is put on then any reaction will generally abate. For those rare individuals who cannot tolerate any copper then professional jewelers rhodium plating or home applied clear nail varnish on the ring inside can create a protective layer.
