“I have a few of these in my fridge to grab and go when I need something quick - the texture is great and it feels like you've had a full breakfast. My one complaint is that it is only available in Vanilla and I find vanilla a bit sickly, I'll definitely get more if they become available in more flavours!”
“I got some drinks of the first batch and gave it a try. The taste is like one of those nut-milks. It is a watery-milky drink with a taste of nuts and just a tiny bit sweet. Not really tasty in my humble opinion but also no problem to drink at all. It is really ok and easy to get it down. In the end it is not about a good snack but about being fed.
The energy is supposed to be equal to one bar, whÃch means 20% of a daily 2000kcal. It fed for a moment but I also had the impression that I felt hungry again a bit more early compared to the jimmyjoy bars. But that might as well be a daily changing situation. Bonus: I have the impression that I have less the need to fart some hours later, compared to the bars.”
“I have been trying out JimmyJoy shakes back since the Joylent days. I have tried out other companies, too. JimmyJoy always had the best taste. Yet, the taste was still very gritty. On top of that, I would often get stomachaches after drinking a shake.
Then the bars were even more convenient, but even worse for the stomach.
The drinks are now everything I wanted in functional food since I first read about the US trend "Soylent". It is smooth, the nutrients are good and my stomach actually feels better after drinking it. If you put the drink in the fridge the taste is even better.
The only thing I would like to see is more variety in the flavour department.”
“I've been waiting for this day? I bought 4 boxes of the powder mixture about 2 years ago and I still have them. So I am hoping I can stand it in the liquid form. I plan to start drinking the shakes today, it's been super hard and that's why I still have them.”
“Loved testing out the first batch of the Plenny Drinks! I love this format way more at work than having to mess around with measuring out powder and the mess that comes with doing that.”
