“On the up: The taste and texture of each is great. they’re so simple to bring and prepare, it’s wonderful!
On the down: Although they each have wonderfully different flavours, there is a core flavour, that they seem to share, and if I were to eat them often, I would tire of that flavour. Also, I don’t always feel full afterwards, which matters only because I’d end up eating something else as well, or doubling up, getting too many calories in the process.”
“I tried The Cajun Pasta and the Korma Rice. They are both quite nice and practical to have around. I would say the Cajun Pasta is spicier and might be too hot for those who aren't fans. It is, however, my favorite. I tend to leave it for a little longer than the recommended five minutes to let the black beans soften up further. I'm for sure keeping this one on rotation and trying the third flavor.”
“I used Plenny Pot while walking the GR54 in France. It's wonderful to have a complete meal so light to carry and easy and fast to prepare. I had all 3 versions and I really liked them. A bit spicy for some maybe, but I'm used to that.
I opened the pots and put the meals in separate plastic bags and stashed 3 meals in 1 pot (6 in 2) to save space in my backpack. I rinsed and reused the pots. Worked fine for me.”
