Plenny Pot v1.0 Reviews

4.5 Rating 117 Reviews
I ordered all the flavours and tried each one. They were okay, but not something I'd order again just because I didn't have that umami taste you get after eating a cup noodle. I know these are probably healthier with vitamins and no bad stuff but the eating experience is the same for me as a cup noodle. Quick meal etc. The online marketing and delivery, product packaging and general look/feel is good though.

I really like eating these at work. You only need hot water and are good to go. I like the consistensy and the taste of all three variants (could be a little less hot though, especially Vegetable Korma). I would also Like having even more variety.

I liked the taste, consistency and ease of making the product. The only cons i can think of is the fact that each portion is 400 kcal which is too small for my tastes (i added cheese and sausage to get a proper backpacking meal :)) and the portion-in-a-cup packaging- i would prefer to get a bag with several portions for ease of transporting.

I was worried that these would be a little like dry soup mix taste-wise, but I have been delightfully proven wrong. The korma is definately my favorite, although the creamy cajun pasta is nice as well. I'm not a huge fan of the tikka, however. It's tasty enough, but a bit too overpoweringly tomato-y for my preferences.

I'm sorry i have to give such a bad review, but it's inedible and i have to send it back. All flavors are too spicy and i have the suspicion that's on purpose to hide that Cajun and Tikka have a strong aftertaste like vomit. Korma could be fine if the curry taste would only be 20% strong. I hope there will be an improved version as i generally like the idea of this product.

These are excellent (all three flavours), the spiciness is just right in my opinion. I love the beans, pasta etc bits so it's not just powder but also feels like actual food. I wouldn't mind buying these in a single bigger package also (especially if it was cheaper, but also to reduce packaging waste and easier to pack for camping etc.), even though the just-add-water pot is really convenient.

I've been testing everything that is available in healthy and easy meals for a few years now (Huel, Queal, etc...). The Plenny Pot from Jimmy Joy is by far the best, especially the Korma for me. Hurry up, they are not out of stock anymore...
