Plenny Pot v1.0 Mushroom Risotto Reviews

This one is possibly in my opinion the best tasting, and the one that feels healthiest to me, out of the Plenny Pots. I would describe the taste as a pretty "subtle/neutral umami", which leaves a pleasant after taste (and feeling). Very nice.

At first(!), the Mushroom Risotto Plenny Pot was one of the best meal replacement products I have tried. Kudos to Jimmy Joy on that one! However, my opinion changed very quickly after a few weeks when I had the Plenny Pot just once a week. The taste is great, but the texture is definitely not what you expect. It is more watery than creamy, and even experimenting with different amounts of hot water, I didn't get the results I expected. Great taste, but disappointing texture.

I'm not sure if I added a bit too much water, but I thought it was very bland. Not much flavour nor texture going on. Yeah not my favourite.

Hi Suzanne, Ahhhw, sorry to hear this was the case. We may have an option left here to try. As we noticed with the Plenny Pot XL bags the very fine stuff (that holds all flavor) goes to the bottom, we adjusted the instructions on the future batches to reflect the following: Shake the bag thoroughly before use, then scoop from the bottom upwards to get a good balance of the ingredients every time. Kindly give this a shot if you haven't yet and if it turns out to still not be to your liking, we would like to invite you to check in with the customer care team for the options within the 30-day money back guarantee. You can reach us through the Live Chat option on the website or email us at love@jimmyjoy.com. <3

It is very nice. It does feel more like normal food than regular noodles or something alike from the grocery store. Although it would be hard to eat it for weeks, so you still need some diversity in food. But please, SHAKE IT after the delivery. If you think it's surprisingly bad, then probably because all the rice sank to the bottom of the package, and all the spices are at the top.

Hi Roman! Thank you for your review here. Hmm, could you maybe try with a little more water in that case, you made sure it was boiling and covered it after right? We do have a 30-day money back guarantee in place for anything you did not like. To check in for that, please reach out to us through the Live Chat on the website or email at love@jimmyjoy.com. <3

It's good, but this penny pot doesn't have much taste too it, it's quite bland. It does work the same as the others tho, it's easily made.

Hi Jasmin, Thank you for the feedback! Have you tried giving the bag a good shake before scooping? After shaking/mixing, try scooping "from the bottom"; It is essential for the taste to make sure there is a good mix between the bigger particles and the powder :) Good luck!

Great taste, I was actually surprised. I do add a bit of soy, but that's personal preference. It's quite filling, I sometimes do only half the portion.
