The scoop is a bit confusing that way, it is showing ml's on the inside ;)
One scoop holds about 50 grams of powder, two scoops for the recommended portion with 300 ml of water.
So, it was not you, it's us.

The scoop shows amounts in ml's indeed, but you can keep to the rule of one scoop being just below 50 grams, two scoops needed for a 400kcal portion with 300 ml water or milk.
