Plenny Shake Active v3.1 Banana Reviews

4.4 Rating 694 Reviews
Would highly recommend Joylent to anyone in Australia. They're much better flavour-wise than AussieLent or any of the other competing brands we have. They also come out at about the rough same cost - just make sure to order at the limit of the 20kg stipulations to make the most of your order. I always go banana myself if you want a flavour recommendation.

Ordering the first two bags was kind of a coincidence. I got the "beta" link from a reddit post and just gave it shot. To me "neutral" is by far the best taste, I consume a lot of Plenny, so it was just the right thing to order a huge bag of it. And the high amount of protein is also great. Two or three weeks ago, I ran out of "Active" and ordered two Big Bags again. I don't know if you guys changed something, but this time I'm really unhappy about it. It feels a lot heavier than "Active", like, it feels like it's even slowing me down. Working out after 600kcal (my usual "before" intake) of the Big Bag felt like I ate a kilogram of lasagna. And after my workout I still felt full. Yesterday my regular "Active" order arrived, and I drank 600kcals of it before working out and it felt like the energy was instantly available. After my workout I was hungry again, as usual. So, all in all I can say, I like the big bag, I like the taste, but the formular doesn’t come close to the one of “Active”. I don’t know why, I mean it’s almost the same I guys, but something feels wrong. Oh, and I get gassy after drinking from the big bag. A lot. Like with the old pre-vegan formular.

Very easy to scoop, much better protein balance and, much better taste and texture (in my opinion). This is what I was waiting for, the huge format also saves me money, time and waste. My perfect partner for my muscle gains.

First off, the packaging is a lot better than the smaller variants. It's easier to scoop out of the larger bag. The lower amount of carbs and higher amount of protein (all plant-based!) is to my liking. After drinking two shakes a day for about three weeks and keeping the rest of my diet the same, I have the feeling my body fat percentage has dropped a bit. The taste is familiar, but notably different from the regular plenny shake. It's as if the flavour is less intense, which results in a more powdery, artificial taste.

Big and good. Nothing more to add.

The big packaging is very practical. Unfortunately a bit more expensive, but you are working on it. Mild taste, has something.

Big bag is the best choice out there if you want gains but don't want sugars <3
