“I've been using JJ for years now, on and off in little amounts. Recently I increased my intake to 1-2 meals per day, and I have to say it really helped. The pros to me are:
1) easy to digest, no heaviness, after lunch dip or whatever. My body is just running very well on it. Big plus!
2) confidence that I'm eating well: lot's of fiber, protein, the right fats, no fast sugars, the right minerals and vitamins. It's just superior food. Quality wise almost no meal can beat it. To me it is sometimes funny that people who are sceptical are not paying attention to fibers or proteins themselves, don't really think about what they're eating. I'm eating JJ because I want to support my body with everything it needs, in the amounts it needs.
3) taste and consistency is good, it drinks very easily. I like how the fruit flavors are completely natural, and how JJ keeps pushing to remove all the artificial ingredients. Monk fruit coming up?
4) JJ is even vegan, so super sustainable for our planet, no animals are hurt in any way. This is big!
5) of course the convenience, but that is obvious. I still have 'normal' meals, usually with friends or family, and then it feels special and I really appreciate what I'm eating. But many times I just want to save the time and still give my body great fuel and building blocks. I feel it is a nice balance.”
“I love Plenny Shakes, I use them during workdays as a quick lunch. Wish they’d actually be less tasty so I wouldn’t want to drink them all day.. Also great before a workout. My favourite is definitely the coffee one! Also I like to mix it up and sometimes by adding some fruit in the blender. Five stars if they’d replace soy with a different pea protein.”
“Great concept. I liked the coffee flavor and the composition. It dissolves well. On the other hand I don't find it very satiating as I get hungry rather fast”
“Great when you have major depression disorder - I really appreciate the rather convenient, yet vegan and allegedly healthy food option. My alternatives would be to compromise on the healthy or vegan aspects (both of which I value) or be forced to spend a lot more energy preparing meals and shopping. Plenny bar v2.0 was tastier though.
I didn't enjoy the texture much when I ran it through my smoothie blender. Manually shaking was tastier for me.”
“These shakes are the best I've tested so far! I really like to pep up the shake by adding some frozen fruits or cinnamon. I'm excited for new flavors ;)”
