“I tried Plenny after both Soylent and Huel. Plenny is worlds above better than Huel, no question. But compared to Soylent...
Plenny isnt bad, I will be finishing my months qty, rather than returning it, but... I cant say I'll stick them over Soylent.
Plennys flavor is VERY bland, especially the chocolate. And I dont mean sweetness, I'm glad it's not sweet, but it just doesnt taste like anything, YET, somehow its blandness actually masks any additional flavors added it (berries to vanilla and peanut butter to the chocolate). (Still better than Huel)
When mixed per the instructions, it's very thin and mealy, not a pleasant texture at all (still better than Huel) When I mixed it the night before in 30% less water, and let it chill in the fridge it thickened up and almost smoothed out (soylent gets completely smooth using this method).
The packaging is kind of a pain honestly. They used a weird side zipper that just makes both scooping or pouring awkward. OH! Also, they didnt actually provide a scoop. Luckily the Huel scoops are close enough at 100g vs Plennys 96g so I used those.
All in all.... not the worst I've tried, but also not the best. If Soylent gets its act together on having g their product in stock, Iill likely be switching back.”
