“I bought this bag hoping it would fit my needs for a comfortable walking bag but still offer a decent amount of storage if needed. The lower side pockets cinch pocket are roomy enough to fit miscellaneous items like sunscreen/valuables pouch, a water bottle, balls, an extra layer, and even a full set of rain gear if you remove the detachable rain hood. With all of those items it is a tight fit but you can do it if packed appropriately. The location of the hook for a rangefinder is well placed and does not interfere with the legs like it does with the newer versions of the Hoofer. Even if the bag is fully loaded it still carries well and the extra pound you save vs a Hoofer Lite is noticeable to anyone who carries regularly. The straps are comfy and finding the right positioning depending on your height is quite easy. I was more than pleased with the color and the ripstop fabric. I will eventually use some fabric treatment to add some additional waterproofing and to prevent sun damage. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the bag and feel that Jones really nailed all of the details with this bag.”
“Overall this bag is perfect for walking and/or riding - the straps are bit confusing and took me a few to get them right but once I did it was a perfect fit. My only complaint is the storage...the pockets are really tight and fitting things in them is tough as well as taking things out. If the pockets opened wider this bag would have zero defects. Either way I've found my golf bag and couldn't be happier.”
