“The feet of the bag don’t stand on hardwood floors and the bag collapses on itself. When I called to see if this was a manufacturing defect I was told that this was a known issue. A golf bag needs to 1) hold clubs and 2) stand up. It stands find on concrete and grass, which is where it will primarily be needed to stand but for such an upscale brand having an easy fix to a known problem seems unbelievable to me. Needing to buy replacement feet shouldn’t be needed.”
“It may be a bit premature to rate the quality of the bag; however, the fact that my most recent purchase (Trouper R bag) is replacing my first Jones Golf bag that was purchased in 1995 - and has been heavily utilized over a 30 year period - speaks to the quality, longevity and utility of the bag. With an ROI like that, why would consider another bag manufacturer?! I look forward to many, many years of usage of my new purchase and, if/when friends visit me (sans clubs) but wish to play a round, my back-up set will be found in my original Jones Golf bag, still doing its job and doing so as it has for the past 35 years…with style, grace and unparalleled functionality!”
“Out of the box, it was very appealing to the eye. I think that this is my 5th Jones bag I have owned. The cooler is a very novel idea and I found that a Yeti Slim freeze able fits great.
Strap adjustment is an on going process but it is getting there.
The lightweight material is very impressive but the legs and hardware seem very questionable at first glance. As long as the zippers are good, I don't foresee any problems with this bag.”
