The first raffia I ever purchased had been on my hunting kayak for seven years and still shows no sign of rotting or degrading in any way. I’ve used it to create base layers in both of my layout blinds and I used some of the green raffia to create panels that I can attach to my blinds for use in the early season when fields are still dark green with healthy live grass. It saves me a lot of time and effort as I can simply zip tie the panels on and cut the panels off after the early season.”
