“The New Union talks eloquently about the symbology of the Passover Seder, but the narration and flow are not great, and definitely not usable if most of your table will be occupied by gentiles (you will need lots of sidebars to fill in missing details). That said, it nicely sounds out the prayers, strikes a universalist tone, and is very attractive. I will be splicing this one with my family's 1942 Haggadah to fill in where that one is weak. Note, the book is published like an English text, making it feel backwards at the seder table.”
