A half-face mask made from papier mâché finished with a striking and highly unusual Filigree Metal Lace Swan with plenty of added sparkle.
The mask is made using papier mâché pulp pressed into a mould, dried and then carefully sanded to obtain a smooth surface to apply the decoration.
With beautifully scalloped edges, the mask is then decorated with red and black acrylic paints and contrasting swirls of glitter of the highest quality, which sparkles in any light. This truly magnificant Venetian mask is then finished with a beautiful swan shaped piece of black Filigree metal lace encrusted with red and black crystals and diamantes, which frames one eye and swirls up side of the mask.
This mask is incredibly light and comfortable to wear and can be secured in place with silk ribbon ties, or mounted onto a wooden baton if you’d prefer to hold the mask.
