If you’re looking to don an unusual mask that is sure to make you stand out from the crowd at a masked ball, masquerade party or even a Halloween event, then the gorgeous Luxury Pipistrello Filigree Lace Mask could be just what you’re after.
Named Pipistrello, which means bat in Italian, this metal lace mask is wonderfully crafted into a striking bat in-flight shape with spread wings.
The stunning Filigree metal lace effect is achieved by laser cutting lightweight metal into intricate shapes and patterns that look like lace detailing.
With the Luxury Pipistrello, the metal has been styled to define a bat with a central body and spanned wings that are filled with tiny swirled lace detailing.
To finish, the metalwork is powder coated with acrylic paint in either black gold or white, then fabulously encrusted with Swarovski crystals and diamantes on the upper points of the wings and bat head to look like bright eyes.
These delicate metal lace masks are secured in place with silk ribbon ties that are coloured to match the black or white paint finish and make for a luxurious and unusual masquerade costume centrepiece.
THE WHITE VERSION OF THIS MASK CAN BE FOUND IN OUR SALES DEPARTMENT

I bought this item as a gift for my partner and was blown away. The metal filigree is delicate looking but sturdy, beautifully designed and well put together. Even without an occasion it's a fine ornament and comes finely packaged. The only issue I had was the small jewels were a bit too prevalent and I struggled to find a more simple mask without the added crystals, as they clash a bit with the more gothic aesthetic.
