The mask itself is hand made in Venice using the new papier mâché press technique, where a cast is formed using paper pulp that is pressed into a mould with a raised central point. The dried cast is sanded to give a smooth finish, then overlaid with beautifully scalloped Venetian macramé lace that is fantastically decorated with sparkling gems and stones to give it a luxurious finish.
This beautiful half-face eye mask comes with a wide choice of colours in black, blue, gold, red, white, pink, purple, brown, silver, green and turquoise, so you’re sure to find the right colour to complement your masquerade ball ensemble.
The Luxury Macramé Lace Mask is supplied with silk ribbons to secure it in place, although you can also choose to have it mounted onto a stick if you are looking for a mask suitable to use with glasses
