The mask itself has been moulded from high quality resin into the shape of a traditional Masquerade Jester character mask from the Commedia dell’Arte. The mask has the signature Jester features with smiling eyes, high cheekbones and scalloped edges that are decorated with gold braiding.
The remainder of the mask is decorated using a combination of acrylic paint with gold and coloured glitter detailing in ornate swirls and patterns. To give the mask an added Jester feel with plenty of flair, the top of the mask is finished with a stiffened velour headdress with fake pearls on the tips and gold braided edges. The headdress is beautifully curled to one side and accompanied by a fabulous plume of floaty ostrich feathers.
The Venezia Jolly Venetian Mask can be selected in a choice of vibrant and striking colours to accompany the gold colour scheme, which include black, blue, red, white, pink, purple, green and turquoise. It is then secured in place using silk ribbon ties or can be ordered mounted onto a decorated stick if you’d prefer to hold it.
