“I have a few arcata sr pairs and the red/ultra blk lens isso very similar to the ultra grey12 black mirror with a slight vision difference colorwise but the ultra grey12 blk mirror to my eyes is slightly darker- I think the same may go for the ultra brown gold mirror vs the ultra gold mirror..likely very very similar most wouldnt know the diff. I will say that the pics used by kaenon of the static frames in the studio DO NOT really show the correct mirroring of the lens. The ultra12 brown with gold lens is very transparent mirrored and not so heavily mirrored like in the pics. Same does for the blk mirror but the blk mirror seems more mirrored in person then the brown/gold mirror...The costal green is my fav out of all the lens and is a better mirror option and transparent as well as you can see when real people have them on in the pics but seems more mirrored then the brown/gold lens or even the blk mirror but the costal green has an amber tint which i like but may be too much for some. All kaenon are well made and their customer support is hands down amazing compared to any other company.
I wanted to post this review for those as confused by the ultra blk mirror vs the ultra grey 12 blk mirror as well as the ultra brown gold mirror vs the ultra gold mirror....I actually in person had both so i know what i speak of. But the frames are very cool and my fav is matte blk...or matte tort”
