“Kakadu Team,
I understand I’m going beyond your intended rate and review request, but I need to be truthful about all my Kakadu purchases. My recent purchases included the Shower, AC Charger, Carry Case and Standalone Shower Tent.
The latter (Shower Tent) is the one I find most troubling, particularly with regard to the set up.
The other items: shower, carry case and charger I find no issues despite being made outside Australia. Needless to say I was a little disappointed to see each item’s “Made in …Tags” but what the heck, what isn’t nowadays.
Still, I find each to be great assets to my overlanding adventures.
The tent however is much more challenging and more to the point, there is a lack of real clarity in the instructions.
The micro black and white pictures are useless and the written instructions offer little help.
I still cannot figure out the 3 piece fiberglass pole fitment and or the single larger diameter pole placement.
There is a square piece I assume to be a ground foot print placed beneath the shower but no mention in the instructions nor is there a mention of the accessory attachments.
Another concern is the frame assembly.
The instructions emphasize not applying to much force, but what is to much? It definitely isn’t a one person assembly and extremely awkward at best.
And disassembling isn’t much better but once figuring out how to disengage the knuckles, the disassembly began to fall in place.
Any additional instructions or videos would be helpful.
