“Will never buy from this company ever again. Encouraged me to add a gift box which took me over the import tax threshold. This was never clearly advertised and a during a follow up interaction with their customer services department they pointed me to the FAQs. I don't know a single person who reads FAQs before ordering. Simply ridiculous. It's unfortunate as my girlfriend has quite a number of pieces from this company, however this will undoubtedly be the very last order from us.”

I'm sorry that you didn't expect to incur additional costs with your purchase.
For deliveries outside the EU, additional VAT, customs duties or other charges such as customs clearance costs may be incurred on import. Unfortunately, this applies to your country of delivery, Great Britain.
These costs are not included in the cost of goods or shipping costs for end customers and must be paid to the freight forwarder upon import. As the VAT rate is different in each country and the applicable fee is calculated individually depending on the value of the goods, it is unfortunately not possible for us to provide an exact indication of the additional costs.
