“Perfect product but I was waiting almost a month to receive. Also there was a problem with the zipper.Still wait for a new puller.Date of order 05/09 and still (29/10) in the box.Time of reaction to my messages is ridiculously high…In the beginning I thought you were closed…The excuses were like i was 5 years old…I need to order a new Bali and I am afraid…”
“Tolle Aufteilung! Endlich kann man auf alles zugreifen ohne blind nach unten zu wühlen :-)
Angenehmes Material. Er ist sehr groß, ich nehme ihn für längere Fahrten zusätzlich zum Koffer. Die Gurte sind so bequem gepolstert, dass er trotz Gewicht bequem bleibt. Klare Empfehlung!”
“I wanted to buy a large capacity backpack for weekend city trips (with or without a small suitcase). This seemed like the perfect solution to slightly extend my packing capacities and the single-space & front load design seemed like a very travel-friendly solution - which it is. Unfortunately, after a few shorter trips, I decided to sell my backpack on the second-hand market, because it was not my cup of tea. I still find this brand a really great one, good marketing and quality products there Kapten!, but they are just not for my needs and likes.
Pros:
- quality material
- padded shoulder straps
- exceptionally good zippers!
- minimalistic design
- travellers in mind
- one big space you can fill with your stuff instead of many small sections
- two-way opening
- the top pocket divider and quick access is a nice idea as compared to the "scroll" style that is so popular these days.
Cons:
- anti-theft zipper locks should definitely be added.
- quality, but VERY rigid material and I think in the long run it is also really easy to scratch or damage it
- if you think white/beige is a sensitive colour that can get dirty easily, you don´t really have other colour choices available - black only.
- the material of the bag is just too rigid, too robust. I really prefer the material of my Samsonite Workationist to this. Softer, sturdier, more durable.
- the front access is a good idea, I would however also adapt a second zipper like on the Lund Pro, so that it would keep the things inside if I reach for something in the mesh pocket
- the laptop compartment is very uncomfortable to use, especially if I want to take my laptop out. Things push on it and it is really hard to get my laptop out. Also, it would be nice to have that thingy that helps to pull it out, like with card holders.
- the size of the backpack should be aligned with under-the-seat dimensions
- I can again only quote the Samsonite Workationist and DLX series, where you have a hidden expendable compartment, I use them all the time during travel
- the side pockets for bottles is not really good for thicker style bottles, and too low for tripods
- the side straps are really annoying and I rarely hold tripods, so they are just flapping around, along with the chest straps
- the bottle pockets should be higher like on the Lund Pro, but from a more stretchy material
- overall, I found I could not pack as many things into this backpack at the capacity of 28 L, while I can fit the same things and a few more minor ones into my Samsonite Workationist with a capacity of 24 L”
