“My starter kit arrived on time and I set it up straight away, carefully following all the instructions. The Scoby started by floating on top but next day had sunk to the bottom but 2 days later was back floating on top. I tasted it after 5 days and it was fizzy and tasted good. It was a bitter sweet taste but quite pleasant to taste. I drink half a small glass daily. Can I decant the liquid to a bottle then start again? How much tea and sugar do I use in my second and subsequent brews?”

sure you can, just remember to leave about 10-15% for the next batch.
For every Litre of new tea 4-6g of tea and about 40-50g, In case you forget, it is in the instructions.
