“I received the 4l kit as a birthday present from my husband. Unfortunately, it arrived during the Melbourne heatwave and was left outside by the posti for a couple of hours when it arrived. Initially I was a bit worried that the Scoby had suffered but I think it is fine. The kit itself is as good as expected and I my first batch was brewing for 7 days before I started the second brew (some with berries, some plain, all bottles with a raisin for the fizz). It already tastes great but so far there is not a lot of fizz yet -I will wait for another few days and I still have high hopes!
I was surprised that during my first brew a second Scoby has already formed a thin layer. I transferred it together with the mother to my second brew and will see how that goes.
In conclusion, I love the kit and look forward to many more delicious batches of yuimmy kombucha. Thank you ;-)”
“Here's a pic of my seven day kombucha. I made raspberry/cinnamon, lemon and a raspberry/lemon. Yes raspberry/lemon. I like raspberries and I like lemon н јнЅ‹.
