The Kencove by Power Wizard line of energizers combine reliability with the latest technology. Ultra-low-impedance is more efficient under light loads and delivers more power under heavy loads. The diagnostic indicator light provides at a glance status. Light will flash green when the fence voltage is over 3,500 volts and red below 3,500 volts. “The energizer worked great for a week and then suddenly stopped sending any volts through output. From Kencove's website I will have to pay to ship the unit back and wait for them to look at it and maybe fix it. During that time I guess I'll have to go buy another unit somewhere else so all my animals don't escape. I have emailed them a few days ago, still waiting a response.”

“I just installed a new Kencove 13 Joule charger and am very happy with it. I purchased the remote along with it and like it as well in that it saves a lot of steps back and forth to the barn to shut off and turn back on the charger while doing repairs. The only negative I've found in the system is that the belt clip on the remote comes off while walking allowing the remote to fall to the ground. I'm going to carry the remote in my front pants pocket.”

“This is the 2nd Kencove 13Joule Charger I have purchased. I have 25 acres with extensive cross fencing (1 acre paddocks) and this charger easily powers everything and contains cattle, goats, and pigs.”

“WOW !! What a charger. we can hear a pig touch it 100 yards away. Sounds like a .22 rifle. Any animal that contacts this fence with its nose learns an instantaneous and absolute lesson...."Back Off". Effortlessly powers an 8 wire, all electric hi-tensile setup....will expand from 1 mile to 4 miles over the next year, and expect continued good performance. Powers through spring grass on the bottom 2 wires effortlessly. Here in Arkansas, our continuing challenge is keeping a good return field (ground). We bury galvanized roofing with galvanized ground rods attached at least 6' deep. We also embed a piece of 4" perforated drain pipe and leave one end sticking up to run water into the return field in the driest part of the summer. Voltage diminishes some....but remains above 3-4KV in the very driest conditions. GREAT PRICE on a powerful charger P.S. ...... DON'T forget to get a remote.....handy as an extra hand when you are "way down" the hollow, and need to do some quick maintenance. I was too cheap to get one at first....when I did, it was the best money I have spent.”
