i don't know how it works yet because have not received it yet. it was back ordered an I was not notified tel I called and asked about it. I also had to call again before you sent it. I ordered it on the 19 of may and it is now the 5 on June. Two and a half week shipping is not very close to two day shipping.

I'll never buy an energizer without remote capabilities again. I am hooked on the remote. Oddly enough, as a tester, it seems to read better with power going left to right, than right to left. The energizer has enough power for a fairly heavy grass load on the bottom wire or two. The remote turns the energizer on & off from a low distance out. Best thing ever.

Would like a better manual. Also the remote may or may not be reading correctly. How do you test it for accuracy? My solar charger reads the same as this unit (near 10,000 volts. I believe there is an error. Other meter reads solar at 5,000. How can one test the unit and remote?

Our energizer quit just days after getting a new batch of sheep. They quickly forgot about respecting the fence. They unfortunately have lots of wool right now, but when they tangle with the fence there is no question they know it. We're shearing next week and I expect they'll all become well behaved very quickly. The remote is so worth the price! We are able to work on the fence, move fence and even move our portable chicken coops into new paddocks without multiple trips to the barn. Keeps people helping you happy!
