1 5/8" steel tube gates are made to withstand high pressures from both livestock and Mother Nature while still being light in weight. This gate is hot-dipped galvanized after fabrication to provide the best corrosion and rust resistance that should last up-to 50 years without the need for paint. A slot-type catch is welded into the gate to keep it open or closed with a chain (sold separately). The vertical tubes are sealed with plastic plugs that prevent mud and water from freezing inside and to stop bees and wasps from building nests. The hardware package includes two 12" x ¾" gate hinge bolts and two hinge clamps, all hot-dipped galvanized for durability.
