Our Spring Gate has a large diameter spring (similar to a slinky) that expands to 24 ft. (also available to 14ft) then retracts when the gate is open. Each gate comes complete with a nonslip handle, two end insulators and a hookup system for connecting to the electric wire.

“Work great - good quality - last a long time unless a spooked horse runs through them . the handles eventually get brittle in the sun and begin to fail but that takes years. Price is very reasonable for this product.”

“These are great spring gates. Beware of other 24 ft gates. These are longer and perform well but some of the other so called 24 ft spring gates with yellow handles are more like the 16 ft spring gates. They are very tight and harder to handle.”

“Use these gate in divider fences, do not cost as much as gates, made 22 foot openings. Have used springs gates for years. Made some new pasture”
