“Great product will definitely be buying more but they are a bit finicky trying to fit wedge into collar sometimes. Sure they are awesome with woven wire but with electric fencing conductors may contact brace post. Planning to sleeve brace with 2” pvc. But they do make a solid construction”
Thank you for your review of the Wedge-Loc Diagonal Brace Set! A PVC sleeve would work, or you could crimp insulators inline on electrified strands anywhere they come close to contacting the diagonal brace post. That would save you the cost of using up several feet of PVC at a time. Please let us know if we can assist you in any other way!
“I had never seen this done before, but I didn’t have the option for wooden or cemented h-braces. These worked exactly like you’d expect. They shipped fast. Arrived quick, and were super easy to instal.”
“These really work great. Best if use 1.33 # posts and use extra long so a lot of the corner post is deep in the ground. Installed with 2” X 4” spaced 48” welded wire and it stretched and stayed nice and tight. Really am sold on Wedge-Locs.”
“Have not installed yet so comments are re KenCove and not the Wedge-loc. Best price on-line and from local "farm" retails. Delivery prompt and accurate.”
“These are easy to use and fast to install. They work good in the Rocky Mountains where I live, I can put them in spots that I cant find room to dig a post hole. These work better in a forest fire than wood post that burn, all you have to do is replace some collars, wedges, and sockets that melt in the heat.”
“Kencove is a great company to do business with..they have awesome customer service and my material arrived before the expected date..this product is a great idea but the design needs much improvement..it will work for very light stress applications, but it is pretty wonky...i could give a detailed list of what would work much better but that is outside the scope of this review..not a terrible product, just limited in application as of now..i would recommend kencove to others and i will continue to do business with them...thanks guys!!!”
