Heavy-Duty Double Cut-Out Switch Reviews

4.2 Rating 14 Reviews
Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

Cut-out switches are used to turn electric off along the fence line while troubleshooting or making repairs. Install one on each corner to eliminate a trip to the energizer. Unused pastures and heavily weeded bottom wires may also be easily disconnected to increase fence voltage.
Kencove designed this double cut-out switch to use the easy hook-up of the Split-Bolt Tap. The contacts are independent of the knife pivot, which can easily be changed to a double-throw switch.

You have to insert short length of 12 gauge wire in bolt before the nut will tighten properly.

Hi Dennis, the split bolts are designed to clamp and hold individual or multiple wires. Coated jumper wire connects the fence to these split bolts and determines how you electrify the strands. Split bolts are designed to tighten down on wires after being inserted in the slot. Please reach out if you're experiencing any difficulty with your cut-out switch or if we can be of any assistance to make your fence projects easier!

Easy to install and they work as designed. The construction is a lit of less flimsy but should last.

Works as it should. Plastic seems thin but just be careful installing and they should still last a long time.

The large size makes it easier to toggle. Adjustability will allow to change over from one fence line to another, or switch off.
