4.1 Rating 15 Reviews
Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

Safely contains poultry, pigs, goats, dogs, and other small animals while providing superior protection from predators. The lightweight, portable allows the fence to be moved and set up repeatedly with no tools required. Creates pastures and enclosures in minutes.
- 10 horizontal lines, 40" height, 3½" vertical line spacing
- Semi-rigid vertical stays provide stability and help prevent drooping between posts, which could cause shorting
- Horizontal lines are spaced closer together at the bottom and farther apart at the top to provide excellent predator control
- Long-lasting, highly conductive, 304 stainless-steel conductors ensure years of reliable service
- Braided top strand provides unparalleled strength
- 13 double-spiked step-in posts are built into the netting for easy installation
- Green, 164' length
- Positive/negative netting is available for dry regions or for maximum control (NSPCX)

A fence charger is required to electrify the netting. We recommend a .25-joule, low-impedance charger minimum per net. (Example: 4 nets connected together requires a 1-joule charger.)

I am using this fence to keep my chickens safe from dogs

Just wanted to thank Kencove for their fine products and service. I donate a great deal of my harvest to our neighbors and local churches for use in feeding our less fortunate neighbors. This was the first year that the groundhogs did not decrease our production by half. The fence is easy to use, nice dual peg step in posts, and the solar energizer is fantastic. I did purchase extra posts at a local store to assist the structure. I had about 300 feet covered between two gardens and they were simple to connect together. My son and I just took the fences down for winter storage and it took about 30 minutes total. My wife was always against an electric fence - our gardens are near the house. With the Kencove fence, you just take it down when your season is over. A delivery man stopped by our home last week, commented on the fence - said he has one for his chickens and was very happy with the product ease of use since he moves it every week. Again, thanks.

I would like to congratulate your company on having one of the fastest response times of anyone I've ever dealt with. On Saturday morning, I ordered poultry netting fencing. On Monday, I was emailed that it had shipped. Wednesday morning, I saw that it had come the day before. WOW!! Great job, people! Also, as I am dealing with a fox vs. chicken situation here, I had a question about the "3 ft. from a wall or tree" rule, so I called the company, and asked why that was. The woman who answered told me all that I needed to know to build a successful fenced in yard for my new baby chickens. Again, great job, people! If ever I am in need of whatever else you sell, your company will be the first ones that I call (or click). I will recommend you highly to everyone that I know, and post another great review on Facebook. All too often, all one hears is the bad part of whatever they've done. So few kudos are given when deserved. Your company deserves to be recognized for outstanding service, and if all that I can do is spread the word and send this review, then it kind of seems like too little. I am SO impressed! BTW, when I ordered my fencing, I filled out a questionnaire that asked about my experience, and I said that I didn't think that the explanation of the product was sufficient. I will stand by that remark. I do think that you could use more pictures, maybe an outline of how it's SO versatile and easy to install. But do what you will about that. Happy Customer!! Thanks!

I use this fencing all over it also works well for containing my Heritage Guinea Hogs. I use it to fence off my garden and usually it deters the chickens without the electricity. The cost is not bad and so much better to have fencing with the stakes. I do prefer the newer stakes than the old bent metal type! Young chickens however will go right through the holes, it is most effective for adult chickens.

We got this netting mostly as a low cost way to contain our overly curious chickens during the day when we let them out of their pen. We live in a spacious sub division and they had become venturous as of late. We don't even have electric hooked up yet and they don't attempt to escape. I will be adding electric soon though to keep out predators. The length still gives them plenty of space to roam. The green color keeps it from being an eye sore as well. I could go on more about how great this netting is but don't have all day. The only con is the poles bend easily. I had to take it down recently because of an ice storm. Putting up and taking down only takes a couple min though so no big deal.

We have another brand of poultry netting and even in shorter lengths, it sags terribly. So I decided to try Kencove's poultry netting. It if far superior! The vertical "struts" make all the difference. And we prefer the "grippiness" of the step in posts to the competition as well.
